About Us

About Our Branches

With six branches serving Cameron Parish, you’re sure to find a library near you!

On these web pages you will find information about the programs and services we offer, as well as links to the library’s multitude of online resources including downloadable electronic books and audio books and videos. The goal of this website is to help you, as the patron, use the library to the fullest, and receive the most from your library and community. We encourage you to “like” our Facebook page to get up to the minute information as well as some fun photos and ideas from our branches, staff and community.

My goal is to make the site responsive to your needs and interests wherever you are. Whether you are in the Library, at home or at work, you can access your local library and all we have to offer.  Visit our Virtual Library for easy link access. Our Events and Programs page lists all events at all of our branches for your convenience.

I encourage you to visit one of our  branches of the Cameron Parish Library. We can’t wait to see you! Getting your free Cameron Parish Library card is simple and easy. We also offer digital library cards for those using electronic access to our virtual library links, just call 337-598-5950 to get yours over the phone!

We hope you visit the Cameron Parish Library frequently, whether virtually or in person. If we can be of any assistance or you have a question or concern, please feel free to call or email us. I hope you find the library and staff as wonderful of a place as I do. As Interim Director, I find this exceptional institution to be a part of an exciting future in our parish and look forward to sharing it with you.
